Our Maryland is proud to announce Attorney General Brian Frosh and Maryland House Appropriations Chair Maggie McIntosh will speak at our inaugural Politics & Policy Summit on Monday, December 4, in College Park.
Will you be there to hear their message?
Attorney General Frosh is working to ensure fairness, equality and justice for all Marylanders. He is focused on keeping communities safe, limiting environmental damage by polluters, and protecting Maryland consumers from fraud and predatory business practices. Under his leadership, Maryland became the first state in the nation to issue guidance prohibiting discriminatory profiling by law enforcement, and Maryland cemented its environmental leadership by taking part in a national fight to control greenhouse gases from power plants. Prior to serving as Attorney General, he led the fight in the State Senate for some of the nation’s toughest gun safety laws and protections for domestic violence victims.
Delegate McIntosh is representing Baltimore City’s 43rd legislative district and chairs the powerful House Appropriations Committee. A former art teacher in the Baltimore City Public Schools, she is a tireless champion for public education. She serves on the Kirwan Commission, a group tasked with recommending sweeping reforms of the state’s education funding formulas and addressing equity issues in our public schools. She has been honored as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women multiple times, and was named Admiral of the Chesapeake, the highest honor a governor can give a Maryland resident for their contributions to the natural environment.
Brian Frosh and Maggie McIntosh know how to fight for – and win – meaningful change. Get your ticket now so you can hear their compelling messages on Monday.
