QUICK INFO:

  • REGISTRATION - Voters who registered to vote by 4/21 should automatically receive a mail-in ballot.  Voters can register to vote on Election Day at an in-person vote center in their home county. 
  • POSTAGE - NO STAMPS NEEDED. Voters don’t need to place stamps on your mail-in ballot; postage is pre-paid. 
  • BALLOT DROP OFF - Ballot drop off locations will be available for those who do not want to deliver by mail. Drop off locations are listed below.
  • IN-PERSON VOTING - There will be in-person vote centers at 42 locations throughout Maryland.
  • DEADLINES - POSTMARK BY OR BEFORE June 2. The Board of Elections is strongly urging voters to vote by mail. Please place your sealed, signed ballots in a USPS mailbox or if your want to place in your own mailbox for your letter carrier to deliver, please do so a few days before the June 2nd deadline.

THERE'S AN ELECTION?

YES! Gov. Larry Hogan moved the Democratic and Republican presidential primaries to June 2 due to the coronavirus. Baltimore City will also be holding it's Mayo

WHERE DO I VOTE?

Due to COVID19, Maryland's presidential primary is primarily VOTE BY MAIL.

Ballots for mail in voting will have postage paid on them so the voter does not have to pay that cost.

WHEN DO I VOTE?

The vote by mail deadline is June 2, 2020.

Once a voter mails in his or her voted ballot they cannot change their mind or get a second ballot.

WHICH ELECTIONS ARE TAKING PLACE?

The June 2nd election includes both Democratic and Republican Presidential primaries, and various Mayoral and Judicial elections by county.
